I bought this 2000 Ford Contour when I was highway commuting 60 miles a day. The CNG option really cut my fuel costs. Then I changed jobs and started working from home, for the last three years, the car has been driven less than 4K miles per year. Now I've moved to San Francisco and as you can see from the parking sticker and bumper scuffs, having a car parked on the street is a hassle, so I'm selling it. This 2000 Ford Contour has less than 86,000 miles and is dual fuel, it runs on either gasoline or CNG (compressed natural gas - cleaner and cheaper than gasoline). When running on CNG, I can usually get between 90 and 120 miles per fill. The CNG tank operates at 3000psi and stores ~4GGE of CNG. The gasoline tank is same tank as in non-CNG Contours, I think it holds around 13 gallons. I've been getting about 27MPG on gasoline or CNG. The interior is in great shape and the vehicle is smoke free. Title is clean and the California vehicle registration is current and paid through May 26th. The vehicle was just inspected by the Ford dealer (inspection report included in photos) and passed a smog test. The last major service was in October, the oil was changed and the timing belt was replaced. The tires were last balanced and rotated in November. The CNG tank was last inspected in July and it does not expire until 2015. For CNG station location and pricing information see www.cngprices.com.
