This is an EXTREMELY RARE 1947 DeSoto Suburban 9 passenger vehicle with roof rack. This car has its original interior with folding rear jump seat to allow for extra luggage access. The front and middle seats are interchangeable. I bought this car fully intending to restore it but I have too many projects going on right now to give it the attention it deserves. The previous owner has redone the brakes and has gotten the car running. The car does have some rust in the front floor pans (see pics) and rockers but the rest of the body is pretty solid. The wood on the door panels polished up nicely and alot of the chrome will polish to a shine as well. It has had a modern 2-stage paint job at some point and the the clear on the hood, roof and trunk has faded. It may just need to be cleared again. Mechanically I do not know the condition of the engine or transmission as I have not personally run it. The roof rack is unassembled but all of the pieces are with the car.
