I'm listing this 1984 Porsche 944 non-turbo for my father who has decided it's time to part with his sports car. He has owned the vehicle for four years and used it as a good weather 2nd car. It has been driven a few thousand miles a year, and garaged when not in use. This Porsche is currently registered and inspected in NY state. Recent service includes:- Timing belt and top balance gear replacement at 79,500 miles- Starter solenoid just replaced- Voltage regulator and alternator replaced- New plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor- New Bilstein shocks and strutsIssues:- AC doesn't work. ( Never tried to charge it)- Wiper sprayers not functioning- Cruise control not working- Speakers sound poor- The odometer stopped working after this past winters storage (speedometer still works correctly)This car is reliable, and very fun to drive. This is a great first Porsche for someone. The milage shows 89,5XX, but is actually a few hundred miles more. I encourage serious buyers to do a carfax (one was done when purchased). This car has a removable sun roof. There is slight cracking in the dash, lots of small defects in the paint, and a few minor dents here and there, but looks good from a distance.
