I bought this 1973 Triumph TR-6 similar to the one I had while in the U.S. Air Force. I was planning to fully restore it and use it on Sundays and, later on give it to my Grandson (who is only 7) since the value of this vehicle will surely go up. I had a brand new wood dashboard installed, new overhauled carburetors installed, new genuine TR-6 wheel rims and new radial tires. Had the vehicle painted with the same color, new coil, points and condenser. Vehicle starts right away (you can see it on U-Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9IuQW-7uXc ) and watch how easily it starts. Vehicle will need a new convertible top and either lots of TLC on the interior or re-upholster these seats. You can buy all new parts at Moss Motors right here in the USA. My wife of 30 years passed away last March and I need to downsize and move into a small apartment. I can no longer work on the Triumph and I hope to see it go to someone who will fully restore her.
