It is time for an Honest Description on Ebay and that is what you will get. Prior Showcar and Award winner! You are bidding on a 1972 Corvette Stingray that was restored about 10-12 years ago. It still looks great and best of all it is driven weekly by me to and from work which is about a 70 mile trip. Last year for front and rear bumpers which are orginal and still very nice. Interior is black original and still in great shape. The carpet was replaced so obviously it is excellent. Seats and door panels are nice and all of the glass is great. The wheels and tires are great and the paint (404) is the original color (Warbonnet Yellow) and interior (989) is black. The car has an L-88 hood that is painted at the time the car was and looks excellent. The paint is very shiney and was done professionally. It now has a few chips and a scratch on the T-top. It is still a headturner where ever it goes! The car has 350 small block Chevy that is suspected to not match the car. I do not have the numbers off the block and I cannot get to them. The car has a clean engine compartment but is not show condition anymore. Transmission is the correct 400 turbo it came with and it shifts excellent and the car handles excellent. The exhaust is good and really rumbles with non-orginal mufflers and orginal chrome tips under the bumper. New items include: Master cylinder, brake lines, 2 calipers and pads all around, new carburator, ignition tune up parts , front A-arm bushings, rear stabilizer bar bushings, rearend rebuild with 3:55 gears and new races and bearings inner and outer. Car had 4:11 and it was way to low to drive. This is a Corvette that increases in value every year. I will sell worth the money so buy it and enjoy the Summer!
