Hello, up for auction here is our 2000 Ford Excursion XLT. We bought this SUV 6 or 7 years ago with 60,000 miles on it and have thoroughly enjoyed it. This was my wifes everyday vehicle and it made for a great vehicle for our family trips. Our daughter is now finishing her third year in college, and our son is now big enough to ride in the front of a car, so unfortunately our need for three rows of seating is very rare. I hate to see it go but feel it is time to let the next family get to enjoy it as much as we have. This Excursion was built in the Kentucky truck plant and has been down South its whole life, there is absolutely NO rust on this vehicle anywhere. It has been serviced locally at the Two Rivers Ford dealership every since we have owned it. It has never given us the first problem ever. I would trust it to go to either coast without a second thought. I pulled a full size Bronco from Atlanta to Nashville recently and you could hardly tell it was back there, other than that, the only thing I have ever pulled with it are a couple of fox body Mustangs, and that was only a couple of times. This truck has plenty of power with its v-10 and it rides like a dream. On top of it being nicely loaded from Ford as an XLT model, it has cruise, tilt, remote entry, power locks, power windows, 3 rows of leather seating, cold ac, a cd changer in the console, towing package and plenty of cup holders. This truck also has a few cosmetic upgrades, it has 18" chrome American Racing wheels which are wrapped in a good set of Michelin tires, Bushwacker fender flares, a custom chrome grill that gives it the look of a super duty truck from the front, a nice tint job all of the way around, vent visors over the 4 doors, two tv's in the back of the front head rests, and a dvd player in the dash. It also has a husky liner in the rear cargo area. You could easily fly in and drive her home anywhere. If you need a SUV that is extremely dependable, comfortably seats eight, and will pull a trailer with ease, then this is the perfect ride for you. You will not be dissapointed in this vehicle. There is a small dent in the back under the tail light where I backed into one of those darn yellow poles, argh. It was not really that bad so I never got around to fixing it. This is a ten year old vehicle so it is not new and it does have normal wear and tear. I have done my best to describe this vehicle as honestly and to the best of my ability as possible.
