1981 300D Mercedes Benz I own a 1981 300D diesel mercedes benz with only 126,142 original miles on body and engine. The car has been serviced and engine has been taken care of very well. Air conditioning in this car still works and engine starts right up is very smooth doesnt shake and is very quiet, and the car gets great gas mileage. The interior is in very good condition, no rips in any of the seats, radio and speakers sound great none of them are blown, the car also has 4 new all season tires. The only downside is there is a very small amount of rot underneath the car and on the roof, paint is also chipping a little bit. The reason why I am selling the car is that recently the vacuum modulator valve on the transmission went and now the car shifts very hard through gears. I really dont have the money to put into this car anymore and I didnt want to junk it because the engine runs so nicely and has such lows miles.
