Every time I drive this car (only a few times a year for the last 25 or so) it gets tons of compliments and offers to buy. Well here's Your chance at a true one owner original classic. The car is in very good shape and has been garage kept and well maintained in a dry region of California. The car was built in the So. Ca. plant and has been here all its life. My Dad special ordered the car in 1966 and we have had it ever since.A few things have been changed to improve drivability. The carb was changed to 650cfm edelbrock avs and perfectly dialed in with a strip kit. This brought the power up towards d-stock levels and now has no hestitions anywhere in the power band. The dual point distibuter was replaced with an eletronic crane dist, coil and controller, no more gapping points on the side of the road and I still have the original parts. The car runs great and she is very fast. Wear items belts hoses muffler tires etc. have been replaced . Recent (100miles) tune and valve adjustment new v-power plugs new K&N air filter element plug wires, fuel filter. The carpet has been changed. the seats are all good except a tear in the drivers seat (repairable) and some loose stitching on top of the rear seat (see photo) All the gauges, lights, heater, stock radio, EVERYTHING works as designed. The certicard is still mounted to the fender, original owners manual in the glove box, original penstar keys, original black yellow Ca. plates, spare, jack, and tools. The antenea was replaced and the gas cap got lost, I have seen original replacements here on e-bay fairly cheap. There are two dents in the driver door, as pictured, and a small dent on top of the pass front fender where I think something fell on it in the garage. There are some other small nicks and dings but overall the car looks great and gets tons of praise. The heads were re-done in the early eighties by a local mopar guru otherwise no engine or trans work, original alternator and possibly starter. The trans works great shifts hard as it allways has and will bark second if your on the gas. The master cylinder has been replaced, I think I still have the original. We bought the car new and drove it for about 10 years as a second car.Shortly after that she became a third car and a garage resident. I had plans for a pro street project at one time, but decided to keep her original instead. So she's been garaged since 86 or so and driven a couple times in the summer, never seen a salty road and only even washed maybe once a year, I cant find any rust and it had factory undercoat applied as well. Thanks for looking and good luck!! Runs and drives great!!
