1956 Mercedes Benz 190 D !!!!!!! I have surched the net, every single website and have not found any other one... truly the only one for sale that i know of.... these cars were very rare even in 1956. This car came from Germany... the owner had bought this car in 1959 when it was imported to the US, and has had it ever since... i have the pink slip in my hands... I bought this car to restore it and im putting it for sale due to financial situation, although i will not sell it if im not satisfied with the amount it sells for; therefore, i reserve the right to stop this sale at any time. the previous owner had bought parts for years and years and put them all in the trunk... it really is amaizing how many parts that belong to this car you will find in the trunk... i mean hundreds of them... the owner really loved this car; therefore, over the years he put a lot of money in it... as i was looking in the trunk i saw his last repair bill was over $4100, the brakes have been totally redone... he acutally started the engine before gave it to me... the original horn, bosch still works from 1956... this car needs someone who is willing to put a little bit of money in it and it will truly be one of a kind. it has all the license plates in the trunk even the one from germany... please keep in mind this car is 54 years old, therefore is being sold as is. the milage shows 49000 but it could have tunred twice so i could be 140k, which for a 54 year old car is not bad at all. All inspections need to be done before bidding on it... vehicle is for sale only for U.S. residents... I will ship it anywhere in the U.S. but the buyer is responsible for shipping fees. vehicle is located in Beverly Hills, CA. I have a handbook that shows how to work on every part of this car, ( it is written in German though).
