This auction is for a 1996 Eddie Bauer Edition Ford Explorer. It has 143,000 actual miles on it and had a rebuilt engine put in at about 102,000. It has an e85 conversion kit on it so it run on either e85, gas or any mix thereof. It's 4 door, V6 leather-everything, moon-roof and includes a 6 disc CD changer and a pair of 8" kicker subs (although I don't think they are hooked up). The vehicle starts and runs well but does have some issues. The biggest issue is a shaking in the stearing wheel when you go over about 25......I was told this was the tie rods or something but don't know much about cars so I'm just selling this as is. It drives okay in the city (a little shaking) but would not be highway worthy at this time so it would either need to be trailored or fixed before driven or shipped. This is an older truck that served me well but as such does have a number of small issues which I will try to name here......please note this vehicle is being sold AS-IS so I'm not responsible for anything I missed. I think this will be a great fixer upper for someone who knows more about cars than me. Known issues: -left passenger door sometimes does not want to open; same with the tailgate....sometimes they are fine. -oil gauges sometimes does now work -drivers side seatbelt is stuff and will not unlatch I have not driven this regularly since late last year so it could use a overall good cleaning.
