1988 Chevy S10 V-8 Blazer Panel I am offering for auction my S10 Blazer, this has been my summer driver/project vehicle for the past few years. I have done a lot of work to this but have decided other projects and lack of time and storage space demands it finds a new home. I will list most of the upgrades I have made to it, I also have a Webshots album which shows my progress. I will include a link to the album. The drivetrain is a 305 V8 with TBI injection, a 700R4 transmission and the stock 7.5 rear, 3.42 ratio with posi. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt before being installed. I also added an LT1 roller cam from a '95 Z28 to the engine,twin electric cooling fans, Hedman V8 swap headers with a hi-flow cat, iron-tuff single 3 inch muffler and single 3 inch exhaust exiting behind the passenger rear wheel. The body has several custom modifications, most notably the filled side windows. Other extras are the Cervini Fiberglass cowl hood, Lund lighted visor, lighted power mirrors, fog lights and '88 camaro wheels. The interior is in very good condition, the A/C is hooked up and working, upgrades there would include an overhead console, am/fm cd player, autometer gauges, led dash lighting and keyless entry. This is running and currently inspected, I use it daily through the summer and have put over 4000 miles on it since the V8 swap. It has been very dependable and works well. The most notable work needed on this would be the front suspension, the V8 engine has sagged the front springs to the point that they need replaced, and the final bodywork and paint. As the pictures show, I never painted the sides and roof after filling the side windows, the rockers are showing some rust and the front fenders need replaced due to rust and dents. I am including two new aftermarket fenders and rocker panels with the blazer that I had purchased but never installed.
