I have for auction a 1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible original Chassis and Body only with a few miscellaneous parts. The body and chassis combo does have the orginal rear 10 bolt axle and all of the rear control arms and springs. The body floors are in excellent shape as well as the trunk pan. There are two patches in the trunk at the joints of the wheel wells 6 inches long. No other rust through areas or holes are present. Only very minor surface rust can be found anywhere on the body although there is a thin layer of body filler on the quarters from previous repairs apparently. The frame is straight and measures square. Frame horns are undamaged. Rt door is a replacement and is rusted through at the bottom of the shell. The front windshield is new and the rear side glass is also there for both the left and right sides. The PHS docs are in the Photos. The car came as an original Sierra Yellow 400 CI Quadrajet 4 barrel that was 30 HP and a Turbo 400 Automatic with AC and a Black interior. The VIN and body tag is shown in the photos. I have it on a Roller frame I made to move it and it can easily be wenched onto a flatbed. The car has no title and I had planned to restore with a salvage title as it was an abandonment I have confirmed. If you have a 1970 Convertible but the body is too far gone to use as a foundation, this is your car!
