Vehicle Detail
You are about to bid on a 1980 Camaro Z28! I bought this car in Feb. '09 and have been working on it for the last year or so. It is a project car, but I am moving out of my parents house and can't afford to take it with me. I do have the title for it. The engine is a 305 out of a 86 el camino, i have no clue what the actual mileage is on the car or the engine, but it runs strong. To get her street legal, all she needs is a windshield and some rear drum brake work. Good luck! I have spent well over 4 grand on the car since ive gotten it, and here are all of the things ive done. Turned down the rear drums and front rotors, new spring sets in the drums, new pads n calipers on the rotors. Rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet carb, new air filter, all new hoses, new belts, new spark plugs, new trans kickback cable, new throttle springs, new power steering pump, brackets, and hoses, new battery bought in March 09. The transmission, rear diff, intake manifold, and crankcase were all resealed. Two new headlights, a Hurst Pro-matic 2 shifter, and Sunpro oil pressure, engine temp, and voltage gauges (voltage not hooked up). I also replaced the front coils and shocks to 1" below stock height. Transmission was rebuilt and radiator replaced in August 09 by Aamco, Dual 2.25 exhaust with chrome tips coming out of headers done by Meineke about July of 09. it has a mean sound. If you notice in the picture, on the dash in the center instead of a radio I installed a switch panel, 3 of the 6 switches on there are taken. I installed a used electronic fuel pump, and converted from a manual choked carb to an electronic choke. those are the first 2 switches. The 6th switch is for the two lights on the side of the panel and the lights to the gauges. Some of the other pictures that ive included, i have the original heater core and heater core shroud, i have all 4 of the wheel flares and the front under chassis flare, a spare t-top, and for some reason i have an additional front driver side fender. Please note that the tools on the passenger seat and the driver side racing seat are NOT included in the auction, I am going to be putting the original driver side seat back into the car. The red fuzzy dice go with the car! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will get back to you promptly.
