This is a nice original 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible selling with NO RESERVE. This Delta Royale was ordered in Nordic Blue with an Ivory White interior and top. It was also ordered with and still retains the 455ci Rocket V8 and the Turbo 400 Hydra-matic transmission. It also was equipped with Power Vented Front Disc Brakes and variable-ratio Power Steering, along with a Power Convertible Top. It was sold new on 4/20/1971 at Hank Bokman Oldsmobile in West Seneca, NY to Joan Lauricella of Lakeview, NY. This very original and clean Royale was owned by a mechanic in New York and then his sister up until this past year. It had the front end completely rebuilt including the springs. The timing belt, water pump, etc was replaced. It runs, shifts, and drives very very smooth even at speeds exceeding 70mph. Gets up and goes with lots of power and will spin tires with little effort. The brakes have all been rebuilt as well and it stops perfectly. Steering is tight and effortless. Power top works quickly and closes smoothly without any help. The tires are newer matching white wall bias ply with a 5th tire in the trunk. Gauges, lights, indicators, heater, speedometer, and radio all work, everything works including the dash and warning lights. It retains its original cowl tag, vin plate, original warranty papers and policy, along with the Protect-O-Plate dated 04-20-1971. Clear title in hand. The 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible has an average retail value of $17,365 and a high retail value of $25,645. This is a great driver condition Royale Convertible. The floors and frame are in very good condition overall, some rust in the trunk floor. The body retains all of its original panels and metal. The brightwork is in excellent condition overall and nothing is missing. The original boot for the convertible top is in excellent condition. The seats are original and as shown there is very little wear showing. The doors, trunk, and hood open and close as they should. Overall for a 40 year old vehicle this convertible is very nice and desirable. Again, I am selling it with NO RESERVE. I have taken nearly 200 pics and a video to show the condition the best I can.
