Up for auction is a 1960 Chevrolet Parkwood station wagon, it has a GM crate motor with about 50,000 miles on it, turbo 350 transmission, rebuilt holley carb, hei distributor, and a edelbrock intake manifold. The car has a power disc brake kit and rebuilt rear drums. I have installed new upper and lower ball joints, Inner and Outer tie rod ends, 2.5" drop spindles, 2 coils have been taken off of the front springs and 3 coils off of the rear. The car has a brand new PPG front windshield and rubber. The rear windows also have new rubber seals. Tail light lenses are new. The body is extremely solid with no rot at all.(see pictures). The roof was stripped, worked and primed last summer. The car has new 17" Coys C5 wheels with new tires. New trim parts carpet set, seats have been covered in Mexican blankets. Car needs a headliner. Some rubber seals need replaced. Rear hatch opens and closes but does not lock...needs key cylinder. The car is a great rat rod/ hot rod or restoration canidate. Can be driven as is. If your streets are bad I would suggest raising the front end back up. Car has a nice stance, rear air lift bags let you raise/lower the back end about an inch. Wheels do not rub. Car has manual steering. Floors have been patched in a couple spots and coated with por15 and sound deadener. The car has no exhaust installed past the manifolds, I took it off to change because it was too loud and never got back to changing it. If the buy it now is used I will put a new exhaust system on the car. Headlights and tail lights work but not the turn signals. The car has some minor bumps and bruises.
