Note:**** i just had the car to a professional restoration detail shop who went over the entire car here is what was just done, the engine compartment including the inside of the hood is now show quality just look at the pix highly detailed all painstakingly hand painted with great attention to detail, the trunk has been all correctly detailed cleaned and spatter paint preserved, the original interior was completely detailed the upholstery was preserve treated and looks mint show worthy, the entire exterior of the car was buffed and came up nice on the roof and sides, trunk lid paint is a little thin but its still orig.,paint needs to be repainted for show but your so close to a perfect car why wate now! inner wheel wheels were blacked out to enhace the appearance, wheels were cleaned and polished as well, the front suspension was cleaned and detailed as well. This Impala just needs just a touch more to be really mint thru-out but i've done my best to give it the right love it deserves. The Details; This 1968 Imapla is a very cool sweet looking low miles survivor with a no-hit all orig. paint body that is arrow straight and believed to be the original sheet metal thru-out. It has its original factory blue paint with factory white roof. A few very small minor spots to note on the hood and a small spot on the lower front fenders otherwise this body is rock solid. All the chrome, trim and stainless is in pretty good orig. shape thru-out just look at the pix. It has nice period mag wheels on it to dress up the appearance and all five original steel wheels with correct orig hubcaps and good rubber are in the trunk if a bone stock look is preferred. The black interior is in exc. orig. condition with a black bench seat, an upgraded stereo system and the orig radio is included, full power steering and more. The frame/undercarriage is solid and original. The engine compartment is highly detailed and show worthy.Trunk has just been detailed correctly.paint is thin in trunk area and hood also has rust on top of hood bottom of front fenders nothing major easy fix, also paint is a lighter blue then the pictures show The Mechanicals; The heart of this 1968 Imapla is it smooth as glass believed orig. 327 V-8 with only 34,880 original miles, mated to a bulletproof power glide automatic trans.
