THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, THE CAR WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!!!This auction is for a 1978 Porsche 911 Targa Turbo Widebody Project Roller. This 911 is nearly complete except for engine/transmission, and is ready to be the perfect start for your next project. Please read my description carefully to understand what is and is not present on the car, and let me know if you should have questions. This car started its life as a ’78 SC Targa, and has been babied and transformed into the widebody that it is today. While the fender flares are fiberglass, tons of OEM parts have been used to make this transition complete. It has OEM front lip spoiler (including new rubber), H4 European Headlights, and more. This is an awesome car with tons of money invested (I have $25k + in receipts, which will be included). This is a rust free, galvanized Georgia car with a clean title. Body: All body panels are present, and in overall good condition. There is no major rust in the battery tray, torsion bar area, floorboards, or elsewhere. The seams where the fiberglass flares were attached have some VERY shallow bubbling. There is also an area on the driver’s door where bondo was used rather poorly. Overall, the body is in presentable/usable condition, as you can see in the pictures. This 911 is rolling on a matching set of OEM Cookie Cutter alloy wheels. All of the glass is in good condition, and the power windows both operate properly. The included targa top seals water tight, but is not in great cosmetic condition. All of the reflector panels and lights/lenses are present and in decent condition. Mechanical: There is NO ENGINE AND NO TRANSMISSION. The brakes, suspension, fuel system, and most of the wiring is present and operational. I purchased this car in excellent running condition, and used the engine/transmission in another project. This car has been well maintained, and I have the thousands of dollars in receipts to prove it. Interior: The car comes as pictured, with a nearly complete interior. The seats (all four) have been recovered and look presentable. The dash is in good condition, and almost all of the trim and accent pieces are included and in nice condition. Notable missing parts are the gauges and door handles. The aftermarket steering wheel is in very rough shape, but the generic hub adapter is included, and ready to take your choice of inexpensive aftermarket wheels. The power windows and switches are included, and both windows function properly.This car is also equipped with a very nice aftermarket stereo system. The system includes cockpit mounted receiver and equalizer, trunk mounted amps (2), all new speakers, and a tube subwoofer in the back seat area.
