This is an original 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback Coupe. V6 engine with automatic transmission, Power disc brakes all around, tilt wheel, power windows that work, AC blows but not cold air, has power mirrors as well. The mileage is original with just over 60K miles. For its age the body is in pretty good condition. Paint is showing its age with fading and clear coat delamination on the front bumper cover. Interior is not bad either but has the standard wear right on the left side of the drivers seat were everyone slids in to the seat (see photo). Tires are in good shape with lots of tread left, I think they were new when I got the car last year. This vehicle is currently lic. and has been driven reguluarly but has recently started having some electrical issues. The radio was working and now it does not, horn does not work. When I got the vehicle last year it had a GM security system installed on it that some idiot did a very poor installation job on. I removed the complete setup as the car had several electrical issue then. For example the radio would change from FM to AM when you opened the drivers door. Plus you could not start the vehicle unless the drivers door was opened. Once I removed the GM security system those bugs went away. There is an exhaust leak that I have not yet been able to track down. You can diffinitly hear it while driving. It is not bad but you do hear it. I did see that there is at least one exhaust manifold bolt missing on the inboard exhaust and I suspect that might be where the exhaust leak/noise is coming from. This vehicle starts right up and the motor sounds strong. I took it out this afternoon and it drove well and jumped right up to speed with no issues. The brakes should probably be replaced as it does not have very good pedal I believe. I took the front wheels off and pads and rotors looked Ok. I bleed the brakes but could not bleed the right rear caliper as the bleeder nipple broke off. The right headlamp does not work. The headlamp motor works but I think the plastic gearing inside is no good. Should be an easy fix as I know you can buy the repalcement kit for that repair. This would be a great little sports car for someone who has the time to mess with it. I do not beleive there is anything major wrong with it but it does have some work that needs to be done. Brakes, electrical, exhaust, right headlamp. I just do not have the time or the money to mess with it. I am selling it in "AS IS WERE IS CONDITION" with no warranty or guarntee.
