Up for sale is my beloved 1972 Chevy Camaro. Vehicle has been used as a daily driver for the last 1500 mi. (since new engine) Due to a turn in our financial situation we are bieng forced to sell it. The motor has only 1500 mi on it. A new GM 350ci 4 bolt main block was stuffed with Kieth Black pistons, mild RV cam. Has a Edelbrock 600 carb, Flowmaster muffler with 2 1/2" piping, new water pump, new starter, new alternator, new Optima battery, new HEI distributor. Motor has lots of chrome (pulleys,brackets,alt,billet battery tie down etc) Transmission was rebuilt at the same time and had a shift kit installed at that time. Not heavily modified by any means. In fact it was built to be clean and reliable with some decent get up. However, did not want to effect gas mileage so did not want to go to radical with mods. Rearend was rebuilt approx 5k miles ago. I think the car may have 3.42 gear ratio however I am uncertain. Has brand new BF Goodrich radial tires wrapped around Cragar wheels. Car was originally an AC car and the airbox, vents, switches are all still there. You will need a compressor and receiver dryer to have AC working again. Interior was redone 2 years ago. New headliner, new carpet, new upholstery (tweed) on door panels and seats, Grant steering wheel. Seats are from a later model Camaro and the back support is far greater than original (in my opinion). Has Panasonic CD player with ipod connect and USB connect. Car has a aftermarket tach mounted on column as well as Autometer gauges mounted below radio as seen in picture. Gauges are fuel pressure, water temp, volts. Was painted 10 years ago. Paint still has a shine. However it was not a show quality paint job. Has imperfections. Overall the car shows very well. Body is straight other than the normal nicks and dings here and there. Only rust I was able to find is in the trunk. It is a small section on bottom. My friend owns a body shop and was going to perform the job for a decent price, it just never bothered me enough to fix it. This Camaro is ready to drive across country today. You are getting a solid and reliable vehicle with no electrical gremlins that im aware of. Turn signals work, dome light works, switch on floorboard works to switch to high beam, headlights, brake lights etc. Alignment is good. Vehicle does not smoke or have any driveablility issues that I am aware of. It is currently registered until end of year. Camaro is ready to go. Only needs a few little things here and there. It is ready for daily use and with that new 4 bolt main block can make alot more power should you choose to take that path. I feel I have described the vehicle to the best of my ability. I am not a mechanic nor a body man either so I do recommend you come inspect the vehicle for yourself prior to bidding. Additionially I forgot to mention Camaro recently had a custome sound system installed. The rear subs have been removed, however the DUAL 6x9's are still on car and sound excellent. I will be including a 200 watt amp should you wish to go further with the sound system. Lastly I have a folder filled with reciepts from various parts/services that will go with new owner. It is not complete since some were lost during moving and alot of the work was performed ourselves.
