Vehicle Detail

1967 Mustang Fastback. Great project car to create an authenic Eleanor or Shelby. We were hoping to restore and make her into an Eleanor, but have decided to restore our 1968 Mustang into a Shelby Clone as we have all the parts. This 67 Mustang is a good candidate for total restoration. This is how we bought her,a barn find in need of love:motor locked up,good transmission, disc brakes, automatic.Needs interior, steering wheel, steering unit, doors, front fenders, hood , bumpers, etc Fortunately mustang parts are widely available and relatively inexpensive. Needs rust repair under back seat area/ sides of trunk area,in front of main floor/front frame( see photos).Quarters, roof ,main floor in very good condition as floor had been replaced, tires are good.Need title.1967 chassis are rare and hard to find and many restoration companies are buying them up as these are the cars to restore in order to create authenic Eleanor's. Because of the lack of 1967's- they are now having to resort to purchasing 1968 Mustangs to convert to ,though not authenic, Eleanors. As stipulated by Ebay, winning bidder pays a $500 deposit within 48 hours of end of auction, and the remainder within 7 days.PayPal deposit will be accepted if the car is to be shipped or delivered only , for buyers and sellers protection.Payment must clear Before the Mustang is turned over or shipped. I reserve the right to sell the car locally. If you have less than a 5 Positive feedback rating, you must contact me BEFORE bidding or your bid will be cancelled. This is a serious auction for serious bidders. You are responsible for reading the ad before you bid. Ebay considers your bid a legally binding contract. If you are not comfortable with this please do not bid.On Apr-22-10 at 10:07:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I have removed the reserve of $5,000.00 from my Mustang so whomever places the next bid wins the Mustang. Again- Ebay considers your bid a binding contract,- so bid only if you are buying the Mustang. I also neglected to click on that I would accept the deposit by Pay Pal, so if you wish to do so, I will have to go thru Pay Pal to send the "request for money" Ebay explained to me that this does not change your vehicle protection through EBAY Motors. On Apr-22-10 at 11:53:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I will attempt to do a VIN decode for those of you who have asked. The VIN is 7T02S1-59660 7=1967 T= assembly plant Metuchen, N.J. 02=Body series, Fastback S=Engine Code,390 4V 1-59660 = production sequence. 63A 1 2A 06M 11 1 5 63A=Body Style, Fastback 1=Exterior Color 2A=Interior color,Black, standard buckets. 06M= Date code, December 11=District ordered= Boston 1=Rear axel Ratio, 3.00:1 5=Transmission, 4 speed manual.
