Up for auction is a 1966 Valiant Barracuda. I owned this car since 1967. This was our family car, which everyone learned to drive. In 1987, I parked it in the back of the garage, with intentions of restoring it someday. A few years ago, I decided to look for a rust free car and found one. I took parts from the original car to restore the one that I found. After sitting for 23 years, I started the engine (a 225 slant 6 cylinder). It started and ran well, for an engine that has 92,000 miles on it. The gas tank , wiring and battery do not go with car. This car is being sold with the complete drive train, 225 slant 6 with a 3 speed manual on the tree with all the linkage. This car had the Valiant insignia, front and back, not the "fish". The floors are somewhat solid (see picture). The car has tinted windows in good condition with no "smoke". It has 14 inch wheels. The trunk and frame rails are in good condition, as are the original inner body line. There are outer body line that are original. There is little rust that can't be repaired. The seats are just laying in the car with no seat brackets. There is an extra door and other parts. The hood is not included with the car. It has been spoken for. The radiator support is solid and straight. It has a clear title and the certicard. The cert has no name on it. I have other Barracuda parts for sale.
