In an effort to appeal to buyers desiring modest overnight accommodations. Nash offered a split back front bench seat which could be folded back to form a bed. The vehicle is fondly remembered by enthusiast for it's enclosed front wheels while on the other hand its earned a reputation with as the make-out automobile of choice for teenagers of the 50's. This car was purchased from a Nash Collector in Florida. The vehicle has had only but a few owners and each had taken meticulous care for this car, babied with only 16,650 Actual miles this 1951 Nash Statesman is one of the finest in existence. The previous owner did undergo a cosmetic restoration to freshen the car up some trim pieces were re-chromed and the vehicle was repainted in the original color Klondike Brown Metallic and two toned with Gold. The underside was also detailed and restored. The paint and body are in excellent condition and the vehicle would do well in competition showing. The body is straight and solid there is not signs of rust or corrosion what so ever. All chrome and bright work look better then new. The interior is all original including seats, headliner etc... Equipped with its original 185cid 6 cylinder engine which produced 85hp. This power plant has been upgraded with rare speed equipment including performance head, 2 1 barrel carbs, and 3 exhaust pipes straight out the back purchase includes original head, carb and air cleaner. This 1951 Nash doesn't drive or sound like your grandfathers Nash this one is a ball to drive and gets looks everywhere it goes. There are no mechcanical issues it drives beautifully, accelerates nicely, and brakes excellent. This would make a fun and exciting show car to cruise in. One of the most distinctive cars of its day, the gently rounded Nash was touted as having over 20 percent less drag then any other car on the road. In an effort to appeal to buyers desiring modest overnight accommodations. Nash offered a split back front bench seat which could be folded back to form a bed. The vehicle is fondly remembered by enthusiast for it's enclosed front wheels while on the other hand its earned a reputation with as the make-out automobile of choice for teenagers of the 50's.

This car was purchased from a Nash Collector in Florida. The vehicle has had only but a few owners and each had taken meticulous care for this car, babied with only 16,650 Actual miles this 1951 Nash Statesman is one of the finest in existence. The previous owner did undergo a cosmetic restoration to freshen the car up some trim pieces were re-chromed and the vehicle was repainted in the original color Klondike Brown Metallic and two toned with Gold. The underside was also detailed and restored. The paint and body are in excellent condition and the vehicle would do well in competition showing. The body is straight and solid there is not signs of rust or corrosion what so ever. All chrome and bright work look better then new. The interior is all original including seats, headliner etc... Equipped with its original 185cid 6 cylinder engine which produced 85hp. This power plant has been upgraded with rare speed equipment including performance head, 2 1 barrel carbs, and 3 exhaust pipes straight out the back purchase includes original head, carb and air cleaner. This 1951 Nash doesn't drive or sound like your grandfathers Nash this one is a ball to drive and gets looks everywhere it goes. There are no mechcanical issues it drives beautifully, accelerates nicely, and brakes excellent. This would make a fun and exciting show car to cruise in. Very seldom will you see a 51 Nash at car shows or cruise nights, this Statesman is one of the best and would be the topic of conversation at any event you attend.
