Vehicle Detail

This 1970 Camaro is a outstanding value priced to sell. Gauges & lights all work, (minus the usual clock), and it drives and handles very precisely and powerfully. It can be driven anywhere with confidence. It is very responsive and comes off the line with amazing power. The balanced 350 motor was designed to have near LT-1 power. At 355 hp, it is backed by a 350 trans with shift kit and a 2100 stall converter. The rear end is a 3:42, limited slip, 10 bolt. It's performance is outstanding. The engine was pulled and a new gasket kit in 2008, the trans and rear end were overhauled 2009. It also has the comforts of power steering, power front disc brakes and the original R-12 air, and it blows strong and very cold. This car is solid throughout and is in amazingly great shape for 39 years old. This car rides on a nearly new set of (4) 235 60-14s, that come with the car. Mounted on the front now, (and in photos), are 215 60-14. All tires will be included, along with another set of chrome rims. This car can easily be cloned to an SS or Z-28. As is, this car turns heads and get complimented everywhere it goes. Here are some of the features; -350 ci motor from a 1973 Chevrolet truck w/ 4 bolt main bored .030 over, -Camshaft specs; .472 lift 292 dur., -10.5 -1 Dome top pistons, -Hydraulic lifters, -Double roller timing chain, -Edelbrock manifold and 600 carburator w/ electric choke, -Mallory HEI ignition, -High torque starter -R-12 Air Conditioning, -Limited Slip, 10 bolt rear end -Headers w/ dual exhaust and Flow master type mufflers (system in great shape) -In dash tachometer -Air shocks -Newer quarter panels -complete original jack system in trunk This car is is a great daily driver but the paint is tired if you ask me, and is about a 10-15 footer. A repaint and minor cosmetic improvements would make it show quality in Black, Red or Maroon with tan SS stripes. As is, there is minor fading, buffable scratches and a few minor paint cracks. The body of the car is virtually rust free with solid floor pans and trunk. I have only found surface pitting on the underside of the car, (frame rails ect.) Inside, there are a few interior items that will want to be eventually addressed; peel back on the upper lip of the dash, (typical for Camaro’s of this era). The back ash tray piece of the center console needs repairing or replacing and the little plastic door handle trims. The headliner has a couple of small tears, (see pic), a new headliner will come with the car. If you have any questions please call or e-mail before you bid, (801-391-7400). The car is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction and is sold as is, with no warranty or refund. Oh, no trades please.
