This car has lived its whole life in Colorado, but was never driven during winters. I was told that the car was used by an elderly couple at their summer home in Sedgwick, CO. I purchased the car out of their estate a few recently and checked all systems and got her back to roadworthy condition. The paint on the car is finished in gorgeous original color of Beech FireMist Metallic. The rear filler panels do appear to be original and crack free, which is rare on these cars. This car is a totally solid, rust free car, and obviously never saw snow or salt. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock, and the wheel wells look so clean, just the way a low mileage car should. All correct trim and emblems are present and in great shape. The chrome is all as nice as the day it left the Cadillac dealer. Another nice thing about this car is the gorgeous, original vinyl top. I like the look and think it gives the car a clean, classy look. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack-free. The car rides on four 15" Good Year whitewall tires which are in great condition. The car also still retains its correct hubcaps which gives the car a very nice look. The interior is all original and in very good condition. The original leather seats are extremely soft and supple and look like new. Door panels and carpet are both original and in great condition. The dash is gorgeous and in good condition, with the exception of one small hairline crack, which are barely visible, even in the pictures its hard to see. The odometer currently shows only 108,536mi, which is stated to be Actual miles by the Arizona title. The Autocheck report also shows only 108,500 miles. All of the rubbers throughout the car have remained in like new condition and are still very soft and pliable. The wood inlayed steering wheel is in excellent condition and is usually a good indicator of use and miles driven. The gas and break pedal show no wear. The seats are in excellent condition with almost no ware. Under the hood is spotless and all original decals look like new. Power windows, locks, seat, antenna, wipers, and defog work correctly. The climate control is working correctly and the A/C does need a recharge. The trunk interior is like new condition and has all of the original cardboard and original black carpeting which looks very nice. The space saver spare is also still aboard as well as the jack and all original tools. Mechanically, this Cadillac runs GREAT! This car features the HT4100 Cadillac V8. It does have the GM Dealer Replacement 4.1L which was the updated engine installed under warrantee. This car always starts right up and shifts so smooth it is difficult to feel the transition between gears. As I said before this car has just been gone through and had fluids drained, tuned up, belts and hoses checked, battery checked and the transmission and A/C serviced to make this car 100% roadworthy. Under the hood is very clean and all original. Even all the original blue bolts are in place to show that there has been to tampering or repaints. There is also original chalk marks visible in several locations. The car is also totally tight as a drum with no fluid leaks whatsoever. The car tracks straight and rides and drives just like a new Cadillac should! The car includes one set of original keys w/ Cadillac key chain, spare tire, jacking equipment, and the original manuals. All in all, this is one of the nicest and most original Cadillac's I have ever owned. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owner. These 80's era Cadillac vehicles are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained, super low mileage, cars like this.
