This is a 1997 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke 4x4 Extended cab XL. This truck is in good condition, and the interior is like new. It has the base for a fifth wheel hitch in the bed (but not the whole hitch), everything seems to work good on this truck, heater works great, A/C works great, tranny shifts the way it should, and it runs flawlessly. It has an AM/FM radio that works good too. This truck would be great for the farm or ranch, it will pull anything you put behind it. This is a used truck and is not in perfect condition but has been taken care of, there are a couple blemishes on the body (minor dents, a little rust on the rear bumper, passenger side mirror needs a little work). The front grill guard is higher on one side than the other, it appears that the previous owners may have hit a deer at one point, the front grill looks like it was pushed into the hood a little bit, there is a tiny dent from that and the hood does not close all the way, it never bothered me so i didn't fix it. One other thing is that it feels like it may need ball joints or something on the drivers side in the future as it is kind of loose feeling when driving on a dirt road, otherwise you can not tell when driving on paved roads. I have noticed that most older Fords feel this way when driving on dirt roads. Overall it is a pretty nice truck, i just want to put everything i know about it on the table, so it is not a big surprise to the winning bidder. The odometer reads 98,000 miles but carfax has it listed at 213,000 miles. I am selling this truck with mileage as EXEMPT as i do not know if the odometer is correct and the mileage was reported wrong or visa/versa. The tires and wheels pictured in the back of the truck are not included in this auction as they have already been sold. I will travel up to 150 miles to deliver this truck to the winning bidder for the cost of fuel. This truck does not have a warranty and will be sold as is. If a deposit is not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-served basis. All vehicles must be paid in full within 7 days (preferably cash in person) and picked-up within 14 days unless another agreement has been made prior to auction end. I WILL NOT FINANCE. We reserve the right to pursue non-paying bidders through collections, and the buyer claims all responsibility for charges associated with such processes.
