Vehicle Detail
Finally putting my SS/T up for sale. I bought it 2 1/2 years ago for 8K with 75K miles on it, 2 owner vehicle. I've added: Flowmaster Force II cat-back (single 3"), Ceramic coated JBA shorty headers, M1 single plane intake, MSD wires and new cap & rotor too, deep cooling trans pan and also a front mounted cooler, removed the converter drain back vale, mild shift kit, Jeg's off-road y-pipe, Scorpion 1.72 Roller Rockers, LED running lights, headlights and interior lights. Bilstein shocks, NEW drivers lower seat foam, Hankook Ventus 275/60/17 tires still have about half tread. ALL new brakes front and rear - EBC pads and slotted rotors in front with new bearings and Raybestos drums, shoes and hardware in the back. I added a Bluetooth kit to the factory radio to keep the interior stock looking. Brand new front windshield after a rock cracked the original. Poly bushings on the front factory 32mm sway bar end links. new gas struts for the bed cover. Also, after noticing there was some vibration and noise in the back at about 99K miles, I ended up having the rear end completely rebuilt with 4.10's and an Auburn posi, and +2 quart G2 cast aluminum diff cover. Mobil 1 in the engine, dino oil in the rear end (the Auburn works best with real oil and also uses 2 bottles of GM posi lube). It drives great, gets moving quite well for a 4400# truck and still gets 16 mpg on the freeway if you drive at 65-70. SuperChips 91 octane tune, still runs perfect on regular. It now runs VERY strong - pulls past 100 with shocking ease. The dash is cracked like all of this gen truck, but I have a molded dash cover and you'd never see the cracked dash. The only negatives I can say about it are: It could use a front timing cover seal, which I have but never had time to replace. There are a few places on the bed cover where the clear coat has peeled. Overall, it's in great condition, runs and drives great, a/c blows very cold, and everything works. While I've had it, it's only had Mobil 1 and Wix filter oil changes. All the hardware I've bought for it is polished stainless ARP bolts, gaskets are FelPro performance gaskets, never cheap stuff. This is one of the cleanest, best cared for SS/T's still out there. I also have all the original parts I've removed (exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, etc.) if for some reason you ever wanted to put it back to stock. Buy it now, don't take any chances on missing out on this beautiful and rare truck! Please, no calls or texts after 9 PM or before 8 AM - thank you! I'm moving soon and want to get the truck sold before then. long video here: https://youtu.be/Nj-6NBVb1swOn Jan-31-19 at 01:43:31 PST, seller added the following information: CORRECTED VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/i7HcVCtTpO8
