THIS IS A 7 DAY AUCTION, BUT IM TAKING THIS DOWN TUESDAY MORNING IF NO INTEREST. Some of you might recognize my username from other FJ-40 sales I have had on eBay. I have been a collector of FJ-40s and 45s for over 30 years. I scoured both the marketplace and multiple states looking for the best cruises in the 90s (California, Nevada, Arizona, etc.) My collection was once in excess of 15 Land Cruisers, but like many life has many directions, and I have been selling off my collection. This vehicle probably represents the other bookend of the flagship of my collection (The other is a mint 1960 FJ-25 hardtop). It was originally presented to me by Wimberly Four Wheel Drive (Daniel) here in Texas in the late 90s. I took it to my warehouse in NC, repainted it and stored it for most of my possession with it there. We have recently moved back to Texas, where the vehicle currently is (Austin) and I have decided to put it up for sale. As you probably already know, there were only approximately 300 of the 1983 FJ-40s imported into the US. These vehicles are unique in the interior versus any other FJ-40 year. This one remains entirely original, with he exception of the paint job, which was repainted in its original color. IT HAS THE HIGHLY VALUED ORIGINAL POWER STEERING AND AIR-CONDITIONING.
