Selling a 1967 Ford Galaxie 500, 289, C-4 Transmission (automatic), factory AC car, 99% original (all except tires, wheels, and exhaust). The engine has been rebuilt with appx 13,000 miles on it. The car runs and drives excellent. It has the factory drum brakes still on it. Great cruiser and project for restoration. All factory items (lights, horn, turn signals, AC, etc.)appear to work fine however, the aftermarket items are tricky. The aftermarket gauges in the pics have to be "tapped" on to make them work, the extra radio lights up but no sound (could be the speakers), and the tach isn't working. The car comes with an extra small block Ford 4 barrel intake, the original hubcaps and rims, as well a mixture of spare parts and a car cover. The interior is fine with the exception of the drivers seat is coming apart at the seams and the dash pad is cracked. The rearview mirror is also missing. This is an original 52 year old car that hasn't been abused, chopped up, modified, etc. and priced accordingly. It drives like a 52 year old car. If you've ever driven a car with drum brakes, you know what I mean. There are a few minor rust spots on the car but the worst is the hood and area below the trunk lid. Other spots are surface rust but the floors and trunk pan are solid as a rock! I got it from a friend of mine who purchased it and was going to restore it but ran into financial problems, so I helped him out. Just trying to get my money back. It's a great restoration project that will be valuable when complete or drive it as is and restore it as you go. Not many like this around anymore so happy bidding to own a piece of American History! I will help with the vehicle pickup by meeting a shipping company within 10 miles of my residence for their pickup however, ALL logistics and costs of shipping this vehicle will be the responsibility of the buyer.
