This 2004 Volkswagen Passat GLX Wagon is equipped with a 2.8L 30V V6 engine with an automatic transmission w/tiptronic. Options include leather seats, heated front seats, multi-way power seat (driver and passenger), sliding and tilting sunroof and more. Back seats fold down easily for convenient hauling. Front bumper of car is not completely clipped on on the passenger side. Heat works very well as do the stereo and sound system. Heated seats function well. This car is not perfect but will be a very nice vehicle for someone willing to give it the attention it needs. Engine runs. Transmission control module was recently replaced. Car is currently in limp mode and will ONLY drive in REVERSE!!!! It may need a crankshaft position sensor, a transmission speed sensor and/or a transmission fluid top off/change. I have test driven the vehicle after resetting codes and it drives fine for the first quarter mile or so before going into limp mode, transmission appears to shift fine and drives well until entering limp mode. I do not know what is causing this to happen or if correct codes are coming up on the reader, the codes that do come up are all cylinder misfire and excessive clutch slippage.
