You're looking at a very nice, minimal rust, 1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Cruiser was a life long, dry Arizona car before spending the last 9 years in a garage in Texas. Still has original paint! Paint looks good for being over 40 years old and shines up nicely while keeping that cool, old Land Cruiser patina! Note: idiot owner before me applied yellow paint to rear tub floor that does not match original paint. You can see in the pictures the difference. The rear, rubber mat covers this. You'll never know it's there. It would be a shame to paint this Cruiser or do major modifications, I think. Runs well and drives well. Rear fenders have not been cut. Still has all smog equipment. The factory 4spd transmission shifts smoothly. Has a 2 1/2 Sky jacker lift and 5 33" Yokohama tires. Factory rear heater and rear fold down jump seats (Note: right rear jump seat has broken bracket which you can see in one of the pictures). All in all, it's a solid Land Cruiser that has no undergone any major refurbish. A rare find! Uncut, minimal rust original paint FJ40's are difficult to find. This is a great example of one and it will only continue to go up in value, I believe. Comes with many extras! Bikini top, tailgate for when hard top and rear ambulance doors removed, driver and passenger telescoping mirrors for when doors removed, new headliner for hard top (has not been installed), new Eclipse SE4000 4" 2-way speakers for driver and passenger doors (has not been installed). Much more!! Here is a list of things I've added to the Cruiser over the last 9 years: - (2 months ago) replaced all brake drums, replaced master cylinder, flushed and replaced all fluids, fixed emergency parking brake (~$3,300)- replaced door pull handle and wipe blades ($25)- replaced seat covers, front and rear ($600)- bikini top ($120)- replaced seat belts ($185)- replaced rear bumperettes ($65)- Tuffy Center Console with installed Pioneer DEH-12E Receiver ($150)- waterproof marine speakers ($120) Please feel free to reach out via text with any questions (361) 798-6667.
