2005 Chevrolet Suburban - 4x4 - 5.3 V8 - Leather - Sunroof New York State Residents Please Understand Your Restrictions When Bidding On This Vehicle. CarFax documents 4 owners - no accidents - 217,418 miles.This Flex Fuel truck runs and drives very nicely.Strong motor - no leaks, smoking or misfire.Tranny is strong and looks like it has a rebuilt transfer case.Brake lines are not compromised and are strong.Tires and brakes are excellent.In fact, it recently passed NY State safety inspection and the on board computer monitors had reset when I drove it home.The next day the battery was dead and erased the computer info.Turns out there is a parasitic drain on the battery and it drains the battery overnight.The owner neglected to mention the drain to me or surmised he had a weak battery.Also, there's a power steering leak from the power boost unit against the fire wall and connecting brake cylinder.Not a horrendous leak, but in NY State any leak is grounds for failure regarding NY State inspection.It has a lot of miles so it is going to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition.No Reserve!No Buy It Now!Please Don't Ask!I will leave the battery cable disconnected until the truck is picked up.Clicker unlocks the truck but if the battery is dead you can't open the door.The key lock/unlock on the driver door is broken.Don't lock the vehicle until the condition is fixed.Gauges all work (has half tank of gas).Interior has minor wear and the body is clean except for a dimple/dent on the left front fender. If you get behind it you can push the dent out.4x4 works.The front passenger window needs help going up and down.4 Goodyear Wrangler tires.Because this truck will not pass NY State inspection ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
