Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1996 Ford F-350 XLT 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel (VIN: 1FTJX35F5TEB00794). I have replaced the truck with a newer F-350 and am ready to sell this one. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orHx0Orzyk0 I originally purchased this truck on 2/28/2014 with 227,304 miles on it. The previous owner had some service records of work done to the truck while he owned it:Glow plug solenoid (2/2013)Starter Solenoid (2/2013)Water pump & belt (8/2013)Injector control pressure sensor (1/2014)Fuel Filter (1/2014)Cam position sensor (2/2014) My primary goal for this truck was to use it to haul one of my race cars to events around the southeast on a small clamshell trailer. To support that mission, I decided to do a little work on the truck to make it better as a tow vehicle. After purchasing the truck, I added the following:-Reese Towpower Brakeman trailer brake controller and new wiring-Wix open air filter/intake pipe (WIX Filter - #46637)-Diamond Eye Performance 4" turbo-back exhaust (Part Number: K4307A-RP / http://www.diamondeyeperformance.com/product_info.php?products_id=184) ($279)-TS Performance 6 position chip (https://www.shoptsperformance.com/collections/7-3l-chip/products/ts-performance-1180402-performance-switchable-6-position-chip-for-95-97-ford-7-3l-automatic-powerstroke) ($250) I typically run it on the +50hp or +75hp towing setting. -New projector headlights to replace the aging stock units-New stereo (JVC KD-X310BT digital media head unit, four Polk Audio DB651 6.5" 2-way coaxial speakers, Boss Audio PH4.600 4-channel amplifier w/all new wiring - supports tri-power mode if you want to add subwoofer(s)) On a longer trip to Pennsylvania in May of 2015, at mileage 235,738, the transmission failed while driving home through Virginia. Shenandoah Ford in Front Royal, VA installed a new transmission (Ford Part: https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts/ford-automatic-transmission-assy_f6uz-7000-farm.html) at a cost of $3250.52. The last 10k miles have been uneventful and the truck now has 245,426 miles on the odometer. I replaced both batteries and the positive battery wiring in June 2016. The front tires were replaced earlier this year with Firestone Transforce HT LT215/85R16 tires. The truck includes two bedliners - one is a plastic drop-in and the other is a rubber mat designed to fit in the bed. Both have cutouts for the hidden gooseneck hitch in the truck bed. Also included are two brand new rear replacement fenders from Wallis, part numbers JW-11 and JW-12-2 ($725 new - http://www.wallisduallyfenders.com/ford-f350-dually-fenders-1980-97-425ea/) that have never been installed. I also have a set of used Dee Zee diamond plate-style side steps that will be included with the truck but I never installed them. Other notes:-General scuffs/dings/chips in line with a well used truck of this age, please refer to photos and video for details - if you need any other photos, descriptions, or videos of anything please let me know.-Everything original on the truck is 22 years old and anything rubber/seals are degraded as expected. Oil drips from around rear main seal area, see undercarriage photo. -White smoke at startup and sometimes when running under load, see video.-A/C does not blow cold-Rear view mirror fell off and is included, but needs to be re-glued to the windshield for reinstallation. -Interior is fair, there are a couple of cracks on some of the interior panels, some stains, headliner sagging in spots/tears, low cost Walmart-sourced seat covers were added after I purchased the truck-Fuel filling can be slow sometimes, more so on the rear tank (apparently this is somewhat common for this age of F-350 and the fix is to replace the rubber hoses from the filler neck to the fuel tank)-Front fuel tank sender seems wonky and does not register/show correct level at times-Based on two consistently located streaks on the inside of the windshield that appear after a hard rain, I believe there is a small leak in one of the top cab lights/openings on the roof-Rear dually fenders damaged by previous owner, replacements included but not installed/painted.-Rear bumper hit at some point before I owned it, see photos. Overall, despite some visual issues like the rear fenders/dings/scratches, I've really enjoyed this truck. She is rough around the edges, but the 7.3L diesel engine has always been a strong choice in this year range and with the intake/exhaust/chip it breathes more freely and runs better than stock. It's been a great workhorse for me, pulling the trailer and the occasional Home Depot/Lowes run. The replacement transmission from Ford has under 10k miles on it with plenty of life left. With a little work, this should make for a great work truck for the next owner. Sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Full payment and pickup must be made within 7 days of auction end. Please let me know if you have any questions, need clarification, or photos/videos of parts of the truck. Please review the walkaround video for more detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orHx0Orzyk0
