Vehicle Detail

If its MOPAR OR NO CAR then this is the car for you! ’69 Superbees have gotten uber rare and hard to find in any condition and this one is still wearing its original R6 Bright red paint and it’s a bucket seat, air grabber hood car to boot! This car has been off the road since 1979!! I got it from a guy who got it from the original owner. He had been trying to buy it since it was parked but the owner wouldn’t sell it to him because he wanted to date the car owners sister! The story is the original owner parked it cause gas got to a dollar a gallon! Boy. Those were the days weren’t they? After denying this poor guy the chance to buy it for 39 years he finally gave in! Anyway- I was lucky enuff to come along at the right time and convinced the 2nd owner to sell it to me. Once I got the car home I immediately pulled out the old, nasty carpet and wire brushed the floors, washed them out and sprayed them down with a rust stabilizer and they are in amazingly good shape except for one small place behind the drivers seat where the carpet stayed wet. The trunk, bottoms of the doors, hood, roof, frame rails, ect are in great shape. The trunk lid will need work (or replaced) and the bottom of one fender and the very back lower quarters will need patching. The very bottom of the corners of the rear window need work as will the tail light panel but the rest of the car is in really good shape. I have provided as many pix of these places as ebay will let me. It was a black vinyl top car and the roof appears to have held up better than most. While the car WILL need some rust repair you wont have to go looking for any parts as it appears every part and piece is still present and unmolested. It even has the original spare and jack setup! It is also a stripe delete car which is rare. The engine, trans and rear end are all the original born with components. The car does not currently run but I did pull out all the plugs and put in some marvel mystery oil and let it soak and the engine cranks over fine. I have not tried to start it as I am sure the gas tank will need cleaned out and carb rebuilt. The gas tank looks ok, at least from the outside. All the air grabber hood stuff is still with the car too! All the glass is still good, the grill, head light bezels and tail light finish panel are all dentless! It doesn’t appear to have ever been wrecked either! It is really an amazing time capsule that will make someone a great project. AS USUAL, A WINNING BID IS NOT AN INVITATION TO INSPECT CAR! IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION I EXPECT YOU TO PAY FOR THE CAR. VEHICLE IS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION BY APPT ONLY. I HAVE TRIED TO DESCRIBE THIS VEHICLES CONDITION TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY BUT THERE IN NO ACCOUNTING FOR INDIVIDUAL TASTE. I URGE YOU TO INSPECT CAR PRIOR TO BIDDING OR SEND SOMEONE TO ACT AS YOUR AGENT.On Dec-14-18 at 18:23:46 PST, seller added the following information: An interested bidder has requested I provide the fender tag codes as the pic is hard to read. I also want to let all bidders know that although I have had several offers to end the auction early I wont be doing that. Its not fair to others. This auction will be running to its conclusion and thanks for all the interest! GOOD LUCK!
