Since then the engine was removed and rebuilt, it got a new short block, pistons, crank, and rods. Everything was done at an experienced machine shop and should be 100 percent. HOWEVER since the reinstall of the engine we have not been able to keep the car running. Being an Audi and VW dealership we don't have the means to diag the car any further and are ready to cut our losses. Our techs believe it is an issue with tuning but are not certain. Take this opportunity to have a great little project, the exterior and interior are in good condition and the did run and drive almost a year ago. needless to say it is being sold AS-IS TOW AWAY at buyers expense.
