Vehicle Detail

At 45,000 miles, you turn the key and Ferrari noises come out of the back of this decked out 4 door sports car. Thanks to a well maintained Ferrari F430 power train with duo-select F1 transmission. These cars are quite the thrill if you love sports cars but also have to pick up kids from school, or are commonly the designated driver in your group of friends. BUT, on to the thing you REALLY want to know..... YES!!!! The clutch has been replaced! Let that sink in, YES!!!! The clutch has been replaced! So the paddle shifters shift very well and are totally responsive. The sport button, traction controls all work as they should as well. The previous owner had the clutch done at Ferrari of Long Island. There are many other maintenance and repair bits at the dealership, but they have been rather stingy with providing me any direct service history. Most of what you want to know is in the carfax. It is a clean carfax, no accidents. The paint shines up very very nice as you can see in the pictures. With the exception of some deep scratches in the rear bumper and quarter. Probably the result of some close quarter Long Island parking. We don't have those problems in Indiana. Given it is winter time, the miles will not be going up much. The Quattroporte does stay indoors in a climate controlled building. Warm and snuggly for the winter. The four door Ferrari also has brand new 22in SPD Ichi wheels. Staggered on 9.5 front and 10.5 rears. And they ride VERY WELL! A vast improvement over the rather harsh factory ride these cars are notorious for. If its not your thing, that is ok too! I kept the factory polished Maserati wheels with all of their center caps because, well....I'm not a monster, or a degenerate screwball. So, should you want everything the way it came, you have that option. The overall mechanical condition is great! Actually, impressive. For the bad rap everyone wants to give, it has been incredibly easy to service and very convenient to order parts. I just finished an oil change so it is ready to rock for the next owner. And I ordered an extra oil filter, so you have that when the next service is due. The suspenion and brakes are all tight and doing exactly what they are supposed to. I do not anticipate them giving you any immediate trouble down the road. The leather is in great shape, with minor cracking, and a bit of wear at the seatbelt. But the bolsters are holding up great, and naturally we can all take it or leave it with the sticky ferrari button issue. I've lived with it. The dial for the radio volume is not working, and the blower for the heater is on its last leg. It turns on, but will not go past low. Aside from the few minor issues, this is a great example of what these cars can be, and I have seen Maseratis come and go quite a bit in my life, and this one is probably topping a large percentage of what you might find out there. No check engine lights, the buttons (minus volume, but steering wheel volume still works). The lights, wipers, signals, Heat and AC do work even if the fan is a lazy worker bee just doing his part to get a payday. The great part of it all is that when you turn the key, you know you have a well cared for piece of italian machinery at your finger tips and can motor away guilt free without the anxiety that something catastrophic will ruin your day. It will be a great car, and great experience if you are familar with them, or this is your first go with a Maserati. I've done my best to put the best example m139 out there for someone to enjoy, and hope everyone can see the charm, the experience and thrill of having something so unique in their lives. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I am a huge fan of these cars, and hope at the very least I can send someone down the road with the same affinity I have for them.
