MAKE AN OFFER-WANT THIS GONE BEFORE XMAS! Selling my 2005 RC51. Only 17,298 miles with the most coveted exhaust out there - Carbon Fiber Sato Bonzai's. BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED OR DROPPED-not even in the garage. Bike runs PERFECTLY-and you will NEVER find a bike that sounds better than this! I have the clean title in hand-it's currently non-opped since I have a race bike that I ride now, but should be fairly cheap to get it registered again. I've included pics of the bike with some of the bodywork off so you can see just how CLEAN the bike is, even underneath. Also included a pic with the track bodywork on. Just got done going through the bike one last time to get it ready to sell-that means every bolt and nut has been checked and tightened and everything has been cleaned thoroughly. It's ready to go as is! I'm very honest about the condition of my vehicles when I sell them-I'm doing you the favor of letting you know EXACTLY what you're getting before you ask about it. Other sellers just give mileage and say it's "clean" but don't tell you about the issues it really has. Hopefully you appreciate the transparency, as it makes it a little harder to sell! So first the NEGATIVES:-Left fork seal may have a small leak. It doesn't leak while sitting in my garage so I'm not sure if it was just leftover fluid from the last seal change I did.-Chain broke while riding one time and did a little cosmetic damage to the surrounding area. Small hole on the inside of the left muffler, a few scratches on the swingarm, cracked part of the undertail (SEE PICS). Not at all noticeable unless you go looking for it.-Undertail SUCKS. You'll want to replace it eventually. That's it! There's nothing stopping you from taking it to the track or street. NOW THE GOOD STUFF:1) BRAND NEW REAR TIRE! Dunlop Q3+. Front tire is same brand, has plenty of life left.2) Sato Banzais (Carbon Fiber) w/matching map on Power Commander. Dammit this thing sounds amazing!3) Power Commander 3 usb4) Gold CRG levers5) Additional red PSR levers6) Extra Yoshimura RS3 Stainless pipes-if you want to use them for the track. They're all bashed up, as I bought a crappy looking pair so I don't have to risk the Satos on the track.7) Flush mount front turn signals-make the bike much more modern looking.8) Scott's Steering Dampener9) Relatively new chain-replaced less than 1,000 miles ago-sprockets also in good shape.10) Battery replaced recently11) Flapper valve disconnected12) Full set of race bodywork-crappily painted, I'll admit, but it works :P13) Extra fuel tank painted to match bodywork-I did this because I didn't want to risk the irreplaceable stock tank.14) Pair of Michelin Slicks-I used these for two track days in A group, but you should be able to get at least a few more days out of them if you ride at B or C group pace.15) Did I mention it's never been down? Ever. There is no damage on this bike (aside from the normal wear and tear and the chain incident I mentioned). CASH IN HAND IF YOU WANT TO TEST RIDE! ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THE REAR TIRE IS BRAND NEW! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO ARRANGE FOR PICKUP. I don't mind hauling it on a trailer to meet you halfway as long as it's at most a couple hours from my house (I live in Fresno, CA). If I accept your offer, that's the price you'll need to pay. If you meet up with me and offer me less, I will not allow the sale to take place. That being said, I've listed any potential flaws with the bike above, so don't worry about any unpleasant surprises. Please feel free to message me for more info or additional pics if needed.
