Up for sale is my 1987 Mercedes Benz 300 SDL. I purchased this vehicle approx. 3 years ago from the original owning family. Since then I’ve put about 4k miles on it. It’s been my Sunday cruiser. The vehicle is an original NY car and as used in the summers to go from Manhattan to Long Island. Has been stored indoors all its life and the condition reflects that. I have service records dating back to the 90s and also some of my own records with work that Ive performed. The goal was for it to ride as close to factory fresh as possible. Below is a list of things that have been done under my ownership. Glow plugs AC charged (hvac all works as it should) Transmission oil and filter Bosch battery Coolant flushed Air filter Diesel pre filter, filter and diesel purge beforehand Intake manifold gasket Shifter bushings Lower ball joints Front wheel bearings Differential bushing Fan clutch Brake rotors and pads(OEM Mercedes) Shocks were upgraded to Bilstein touring at some point. All parts were replaced with quality lemforder and febi parts. Along with Mercedes Benz fluids. That being said, the car rides beautifully. The engine is smooth as butter and doesn’t burn or leak a drop of oil. No weird noises or rattles. You’d be hard pressed to find another 300SDL in the same shape.
