If you are looking for an incredible low mile original 2wd Jeep Cherokee XJ, this is the one for you!!!! Corporate southern region owned its entire life. 60,036 original miles!!!! 1998 Limited model, 4.0L 6 cylinder motor, auto, original stone white paint and original great condition tan interior with factory leather. Read about this XJ’s life story……. The reason why this Jeep Cherokee is in great condition is it was owned by Lufthansa Airlines for the last twenty years. This Jeep spent its entire life on Miami International Airport property being used as a company vehicle to move personnel around the large airport. The employee who used this vehicle for the last twenty years told me he always stored it in the parking garage, everything is original, never abused or off-road or even ever really in the streets!!!! Lufthansa Airlines decided it was time to replace this corporate vehicle with a new one after 20 years of faithful service. I bought this XJ with the intent of making it my daily driver as I needed another vehicle to get me to and from work. I quickly realized this Jeep is in such great condition, I CANNOT make this a daily driver. It is too nice and should be appreciated and celebrated by an XJ lover!!!! I bought this XJ with 59… original miles and put only a few hundred miles in the last four months since I have owned it. This is NOT a rebuilt XJ that had a hard life and becomes new again. This is an original XJ in great condition. The interior is in incredible condition for a vehicle that’s 20 years old. Tan Leather, tan carpet and the dash and switches that look great. OEM wood grain package and overhead console. AC works great. It does have a Check Gauges light on and the oil gauge appears to not be working properly. I have no idea if it is just a sensor or relay or what. I had a new professionally installed headliner. Comes with the original factory radio that does not work so well. I was going to have a new radio and speakers installed, but I decided to leave that choice up to the new owner. I will include a new in the box Kenwood blue tooth single DIN radio and new in the box MTX (high end series) door speakers. I already installed new Alpine rear roof speakers. In my quest to make this XJ look nicer, I did a few things to bolster its appearance. The items I did are NEW and have less than 50 miles on the vehicle since I did the upgrades. ZONE Off road 3” lift kit which includes suspension and shocks and ZONE Off road steering stabilizer *Zone is owned by its parent company Fox Shocks Pro Comp Wheels – Gloss black 15 x 9 steel Iron Man Tires - All Country - Mud Terrain 31 x 10.5 x 15 (little noisy on the road) *Includes original XJ rims and tires (3 are very good and 1 is so-so) New black lug nuts Moog sway bar bushing kit and sway bar end links Custom used full size heavy duty roof rack with new black Raptor Liner coating and full XJ car cover New high end tints all around with lifetime warranty New lift gate struts New Continental Elite serpentine belt and idler pulley Cooling system flushed and oil change Engine bay detailed (looks great) With all that being said. It is not perfect. It does have a bump and bruise on the front bumper which can be fixed right up. I did not get that fixed as to allow the new owner to decide how they want to get that fixed. Or, just replace it with an aftermarket bumper which I was going to do anyway. Few little nicks and imperfections on the vehicle as well. On the sides and rear that appear to be from other car doors hitting it. I have left these imperfections so you can see I was not trying to hide any details. The exterior paint looks very good for 20 years old, although is not mint showroom new. This is very very nice, although, not a new car. This vehicle was owned by Lufthansa Airlines for 20 years and then ownership was transferred in 2018 to the Lufthansa employee who was given the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle from that employee. On Dec-03-18 at 06:37:58 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE:***** Originally I put the check gauges light was on and the oil sensor was not working properly. This will be fixed by the time the auction ends as it was a very easy fix to replace the oil sensor above the oil filter. Ebay doesn't let me remove that from the orginbal listing or remove the photo. It will be fixed though.
