1986 CR 500. The bike has been sitting for 4 years and has developed an external water leak through a pinhole in the cylinder (pictured above). The water pump housing also has some corrosion but was not leaking at the time that I removed the cover, the radiators seem to be clear. This bike ran strong and everything operated properly last time it was ridden, the engine kicks over and still has extremely strong compression. The front tire is old and is starting to crack from dry rot, the rear was replaced shortly before the bike was stored and is still in good shape. The plastics are in good condition for their age. There is a very small 2-3mm hole in the rear fender and the front number plate has been cracked and repaired. The frame is rust free and has no cracks, and the brakes both seem to be functioning properly. I also have a fair amount of spare parts that will come with it. Two spare cylinders that will most likely need to be bored, two used pistons, a spare cylinder head in good shape, three radiators that are slightly bent, a spare carburetor and reed block, front shocks, a spare 1986 CR500 frame in good condition, two rear shocks and a spare rear wheel.
