This bike has had two owners and spent its life in two New Kent County, VA climate controlled garages. I am selling this for my friend who bought it 15 years ago from a co-worker when he worked here for a German company. He was transferred back to Germany and now rides it annually when he comes for a visit. After turning 60, it is no longer the type of bike that is comfortable; he wants sell it so he can find a nice touring bike. Being an engineer he has kept this bike in pristine condition, synthetic oil and correctly servicing and repairing things as needed. He completely rebuilt the four carbs 2 years ago. The bike starts quickly, idles great and has no dead spots in acceleration; it needs nothing. From 10 feet the bike is as new, no cracks in the fairings and only a few tiny rock chips. The front tire is original; the rear was replaced about 10 years ago and has less than 2,000 miles. Of course living inside, the tires have no weather checking. 10% Pay Pal Deposit at close of auction
