Vehicle Detail
I live in New York City and I am selling my black 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan (Taurus). It has a 3.5 engine, all-wheel drive, and 91,000 miles of love on it; I’ve had this car 2 years and she’s been a champ. Very simply, this car has been taken care. It runs smoothly, motor and transmission, it drips no oil, burns no smoke, and runs solid. It has freezing cold a/c, all window motors and all the small stuff all work. The car is has a clean Carfax, it was NOT a flood nor salvage title (like many of these former police cars are). This is a good used car from a good family of car enthusiasts. Her name is: 1FAHP2M84DG134491. The car has cloth buckets up front, and vinyl rear bench seat. No tears in any cushions, the headliner is pristine. It has the standard fleet dome light, R/W. It has standard am/fm and CD. The only customization I did was add on a K&N air kit. It also has a full size spare on a full-size OEM rim (the way it should be), and it has the aluminum “tray table / desk” that slides out of the trunk. The body is good, no rust, paint is good, but it has a small shallow dent on the rear (about 4” in diameter), and an indent on the bumper under it (see photos). There is a thin scratch on the right rear door, and some minor rear bumper subs/scuffs like all other cars in NYC. The windshield is 100%, and is has no tint on it. The front side windows have 35% and the side rear windows are limo tint. The back window is 20%. I’m selling it because while it was fun, at this point in my life I’m done with fleet vehicles and want something more luxurious, like with leather, Sirus and a sunroof! I used this car while I was a lieutenant on a rescue squad, and it served me well, but now she’s in search of a new owner. This car has lights and siren, as well as radios. It is being sold with all emergency equipment. Now many of you won’t be interested—but many of you will. This car has the correct console made for this car. The radios were installed by a Motorola dealer (a $3500 investment), meaning the install was done professionally. The car has a master power switch on the console which turn all installed equipment off, just like an ambulance. This ensures no battery leakage. Speaking of batteries, it had a new Interstate 850 Megatron installed the first week of October. Tires are two years old look plenty good. I also just installed a brand new K&N air last week. The car has a key fob for the doors and trunk, and it does have remote start--but I never bought the fob for it, because I don't need remote start. This car will take you smoothly on cruise control down the highway, and commands attention. It’s funny, but everyone gets out of the way. Here is the emergency package in a nutshell: Whelen 295-SL-100 (200 watt) siren with all standard tones plus mechanical (fire engine) sound If you like that. It has a fantastic well-used PA mic. I have one 100 watt siren mount center in the grill. There are 2 R led Whelen 500’s in the grill, and a led Whelen Slimlighter (R/R) above the mirror. The rear deck has two R/B led lights (not sure of the brand)--the car was set up as an emerg vehicle in NY, so those are the colors in the legal places—no forward B. There are 2 white alternating Whelen corner strobes in the front corner lights. On the trunk lid, when you open the trunk, are 2 led TIR3s in B on their own on/off switch. There is also a large LED work light which lights up the trunk, also on its own switch. The car has 3 radios they are programmed with NYC frequencies, but you can reprogram them. These should all be narrowband compliant. One is a Motorola Astro Spectra (UHF high band split), one is a Motorola CM300 (40 watt I believe), and the other is an AnyTone AT-5888UV Dual Band UHF & VHF– all 3 of these radios do Alpha-Numeric “words” on the display. Note: the car will be sold with the radios, but the transmit frequencies will be removed from all radios, so they will not transmit. * The car has 2 UHF “hockey puck” antennas, and the center antenna is VHF (but I used it as a scanner only with a 4” whip and it worked perfectly).* Send me a message through ebay if you have any questions, I check my email all day long. Thank you! ** I am a trust ebayer. I have been on ebay since 2004. MY ebay rating is 1280 items @ 100% positive. I have bought and sold 3 cars on ebay over the last 14 years. Ultimately, it's a used car that is nice.
