This car came from an elderly couple who owned it for years and went all over with it until 2007 when they stopped driving it. it now has a rebuilt carb a flushed fuel system and is up and running again. The motor runs good but has a ticking lifter due too sitting the more I run it the better it has gotten this is only 1 lifter and not the notorious oiling issues some of these had. It has no brakes and needs the master/booster rebuilt. The trans goes into gear fine and shifts from low to 2nd firmly. I can't drive it fast enough on the parking g brake to shift into direct drive. There is a small leak from the front seal on the trans. It's not pouring out but after 20 min it will have an inch puddle under the housing. It was originally push button shift but when I got it the mechanism underneath was gone so I swapped in a column shift column to make life easy. The original is in the trunk. The speedo needle is missing but there is a good speedometer head included in the trunk. There is no rust on this car only one small quarter sized spot in front of the rear wheel well, see last pic. No Bondo that I can find. The fender eyebrows are rust and bondo free. Floors rockers and trunk are in fantastic shape it would truly be difficult to find a cleaner coupe body to start with. car was repainted in the 60s looks shiny in pics but could use a buff. it does show its age in spots.The car needs to be restored or at a minimum mechanically and electrically gone over to be road worthy. There are decent Coker biasplys on the car that ride fine around the neighborhood. All in all a solid car that runs and yard drives with the parking brake.
