Rare 1968 Firebird 400 CI convertible California car with 33 factory options counting the custom trim package. Engine and suspension have been rebuilt. PHS documented with protect-o-plate and a nice straight body ready for painting. I added a photo showing the car from the past. I have lots of receipts from the previous owner and photos and the original owners manual for the car and convertible top. I have the parchment seat covers and black carpet and lots of new emblems. This car has tilt steering wheel, power steering, brakes, windows and locks. cruise control, air conditioning and power top. I have the convertible frame but not the fabric top. I bought the car in 2007 and have had it in a climate controlled storage since then. Below is a partial description of this car from the previous owner: This car was purchased new by Pontiac Motor Division Engineering for their use and then sold new in June of 1969. It was a California car from approx. 1971 to 2007 when I bought it. Some of the options documented by PHS include, 400 engine with hydra-matic transmission, cruise control, power convertible top, power windows, power steering, power brakes, custom air conditioning, Rally gauge cluster, hood mounted tachometer, AM FM radio, console, Clock, Soft Ray glass, outside remote mirror. Previous owner, said they rebuilt the matching numbers engine and transmission ( I had engine taken out and completely rebuilt again because it was over heating) The sub frame was painted and new front end parts were installed including ball joints, tie rods, idler arm etc. Had new brakes, brake power booster, master cylinder, dual exhaust, front windshield, interior trim, water pump, hoses, belts, hood tach, G.M. fan shroud, power steering hoses, some A.C. parts, etc. Rebuilt parts include power steering gear box, carburetor, distributor, radiator etc. New parts included are the front door panels, the rear 1/4 door trim coverings, boxes of original and extra parts included. Some things to finish are paint and there was some amateurish floor patching done that should have been left alone. I will include a full trunk floor pan to the buyer. The two front shakers are missing. I have a jack but not a spare tire. The original colors are Aleutian Blue, Parchment custom interior and an Ivory white convertible top.
