Vehicle Detail
I am showing this car for a neighbor who purchased the car from a local authorized Dodge dealer in Riverhead, NY, where it had just been turned back in that same day by the first owner, who actually took back his trade-in, reporting that the Hellcat was "too much car" for him. The car has had no service issues then or now, but my friend took the extra precaution of adding a 7-year bumper-to bumper warrantee to the factory 5-year Drivetrain warrantee, both of which are fully transferrable. He has had no service issues either, and, in fact, did not even get to take advantage of the 5 free oil changes, as he used the car so sparingly. Dodge Challenger Hellcat For 2015, Chrysler introduced an all-new high performance supercharged variant of the Hemi engine, called the Hellcat (named after the Grumman F6F Hellcat). It features the same 4.09 in (103.9 mm) bore as the 6.4 L Hemi and the same 3.578 in (90.9 mm) stroke as the 5.7 L, giving it a total displacement of 6,166 cc (6.2 L; 376.3 cu in. The supercharger is a 2,380 cc (145 cu in) twin-screw IHI unit with integrated charge coolers, capable of producing 11.6 psi (80 kPa; 0.80 bar) of boost and has a compression ratio of 9.5:1. This engine was the most powerful engine produced by Chrysler as well as the most powerful production engine ever in a muscle car except for the Dodge Demon, a limited production model that is no longer in production. The 2015 Dodge Challenger with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI engine is rated at 707 hp and 650 lb⋅ft. of torque. The inner driving light on the left front has been removed to allow air to get into the engine resulting in more torque, and the wheel wells are different from the standard SRT to accommodate the 20-inch aluminum wheels. The SRT Hellcat is equipped with two separate key fobs; use of the "black" fob limits engine output to 500 hp, while the "red" fob enables full output capability. The Hellcat has a quarter mile time of 10.85 seconds; this was accomplished with street legal drag tires. On stock tires the Hellcat was able to achieve 11.2 seconds @ 125 mph in the quarter mile. The Challenger SRT Hellcat can accelerate from 0–60 in 3.6 seconds and can brake from 60–0 in 109.0 ft. Top speed is 199–202 mph. The Challenger Hellcat has a lateral acceleration of 0.94g. The Challenger Hellcat has a power to weight ratio of 6.19 lb per horsepower. This Hellcat This Hellcat is in mint, as-new condition. The current owner took extremely good car of the car, driving it as a normal passenger car, having never even explored the full potential of this beast. With a new house and new wife in his plans, he chose to part with the Hellcat. He will need to settle the loan on the car beforehand, and will work with the buyer to ensure that a lien-free title is conveyed. The lien was obtained through the authorized dealer and the transfer will be similarly executed. The car has a clean CarFax, no repair issues, and comes with all the books, records and documents including the remained of the 7-year bumper-to-bumper factory warrantee. It is equipped with all the options available and comes in the rarely seen Triple Black color combo (Black paint, interior and wheels). The Dodge Hellcat is an instant classic reincarnation of the glory years of Mopar supremacy, only far superior to the predecessor that spawned the Hemi legend (the 1970 Hemi Challenger). Unlike the early car, this model enables you to put all that power on the road (highly sophisticated launch and traction control) and keep it there (.95 lateral g cornering power). Here is your chance to save tens of thousands of dollars off the original MSRP for a car that is virtually brand new! This particular Hellcat features Dodge’s 8-speed automatic, which in road tests has proven that it’s at least a second or more faster in the quarter mile. (Interestingly, back in the day, Dodge’s TorqueFlite Automatic transmission was also faster than the manual transmissions.) For a car with this power (as with all modern race cars), automatic is the transmission of choice, as it enables faster shifts and more accurate control of traction. Apparently, the market bears this out as the automatic is by far the favorite choice of buyers. The car features all the essential Hellcat equipment such as SRT Tuned Bilstein 3-mode Suspension; Anti-Spin Rear Axle,; Brembo 6-piston High Performance Brakes with ABS; Electronic Stability Control; All Speed Traction Control; Keyless Enter ‘n Go; GPS Navigation; ParkSense Rear Park Assist System; Blind Spot and Rear Cross Path Detection; Sentry Key Theft Deterrent System; SRT Instrument Cluster with 7-in Reconfigurable Driver Information Display; Ventilated Front Seats; Heated Steering Wheel; Power Tilt/Telescope Steering Column; Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control; Power 6-way Driver Seat with Power 4-way Lumbar Support; Integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth HD Radio; Sirius Satellite Radio with Travel Link and Traffic Service; 18 Speaker Premium Audio System with 2 subs and a Harmon Kardon Amplifier; 20” Pirelli Sires on Brass Monkey SRT Forged Wheels; HID Headlights. Extra cost options include the SRT Hellcat Supercharged Package; TorqueFlite 8-speed Automatic Transmission; Remote Start System; Steering Wheel Paddle Shifters for a total MSRP of $70k!**Please feel free to ask any and all questions though eBay's message board.
