When inspected 6 months ago, the mileage was 129,460. Other mileage entries document the mileage as being accurate.As you can see, for some reason, instead of the odometer reading, the word "ERROR" shows up on the dashboard.Truck starts, runs and drives very nicely.Truck was never racked and is being sold in "As Is" condition.This truck goes to the highest bidder!No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask!Tires are very good and the brakes feel fine.Truck sat for a long time and the battery ran low. As a result, the on-board computer needs to be reset in order to pass the emission part of the NY State inspection.I drove the truck for an hour on the highway and locally and the monitors did not reset.These vehicles sometimes needs 100's of miles of driving for the computer to re-learn emission protocol.I don't have the time or inclination to go through this exhaustive process. It's an older truck with a couple of body flaws and inoperative odometer (speedometer works).Bid with confidence and drive it home.There are no warranties or guarantees.Oil is dirty - could use an oil change.When first starting there is a minor audible ticking noise for a couple of minutes. Then quiet smooth and runs like new.No noise for the rest of the day - was told a lifter needs to pump up.Doing the oil change will probably help. Because this vehicle will not pass NY State inspection ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
