Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1967-non-restored and very solid. Garage-stored for a number of years by the original owner. The second owner, a patient of the original owner (a doctor) refreshed it with new brake cylinders, brake (fluid) lines, complete tuneup w/ new carburetor, new tires. The rear passenger fender needs repair (damage is minor), the left side of the lower rear panel also requires minor repair, one more small dent exists just in front of door handle, driver door. The body and under-carriage including heat rails is rust-free---EXCEPT, at the center of the passenger-side floor pan, there's an area (8" x 12") with rust-thru. Note: for a professional to repair the floor pan, correctly, will cost in the area of $600.00; or one could do a fiberglass repair for less. The motor has never been removed, it starts immediately, runs like a sowing machine, of course, no smoke, strong clutch, shifts smooth, brakes are new. Everything works good---EXCEPT, the hand-brake requires the pawl rod be re-positioned over pawl & spring re-positioned to engage properly. It drives down the highway exceptionally well. 65 mph is no problem. It's ready to cruise anywhere. The driver seat has finally wore thru, and the sunroof portion of the headliner will eventually require replacement. The driver-side window roll-up handle's tip is missing. Repair the items I've noted and it's as good as restored. One last note: the paint is original. Buyer to make shipping arrangements or pickup & drive away within 21 days after Auctions' ending. Thank you all. On Oct-03-18 at 19:12:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I listed the wrong size of engine, it's a 1500 cc (original.) The odometer reads 32000, , .it's possible those are the original miles. The two original owners have passed & with them went the answer.
