Vehicle Detail
Up for auction at NO RESERVE and a low starting price of $3,000 is a very nice 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier L. This vehicle is absolutely IMMACULATE! It has 146,200 miles on it, but it could pass for a car with 46,200 miles on it. There are only a few flaws which I will mention in the description and show in the photos. What exactly is a Cartier L? A Cartier L is a Town Car that was built by Lincoln with a wheel base 6 inches longer than that of a standard Town Car. If you look closely you will see the rear door is 6 inches longer on the vehicle giving it much more leg room in the rear seat area. The body on this Cartier L is beautiful. Of course there is absolutely no rust, scrapes or dents. There are a few very minor, and I do mean very minor door dings that you would be hard pressed to find. The pearl paint is stunning. It is smooth, clean, very glossy and one uniform color. The clear coat is NOT failing anywhere. In regards to the body and paint, there are two areas that I want to make potential bidders aware of. The first one is the 1 inch scrape on the corner of the rear bumper and the wrinkled chrome in the same area (please see next to last photo). The second area that bothers me about the paint is the chip on top of the front bumper (please see the very last photo). The chrome on his Cartier L is very nice and the chrome wheels are nicer than most, but the back of the wheels are starting to corrode. The interior of this car is very clean. It does not look like it has 146,000 miles on it. The leather seats show minimal wear, mostly wrinkles. The driver's seat does have one small hole on the seat bottom (please see the 3rd photo from the end of the pictures). The door panels are all very nice but the driver's door is missing a small trim piece that goes on the end of the door pull (please see the 4th photo from the end of the pictures). The dash is beautiful and free of cracks of any kind. The headliner is clean and not falling down. The carpet is clean and not worn. The original floor mats are even in good condition. I have included pictures of the trunk so you can see this Lincoln has the optional and somewhat rare trunk organizer. This 2003 Lincoln Cartier L is powered by a 4.6 liter V8 that runs like new. The engine runs smooth and powerful. There are no funny noises or fluid leaks. There are no error messages on the dash. The transmission shifts both smooth and decisive. The car drives great and the ride is smooth. The vehicle has factory air ride suspension in the rear that is fully functional. I would not hesitate to drive this car ANYWHERE! This car is loaded with options and everything works. The climate control system works perfectly. The a/c is cold, the heat is hot. All four of the power windows work. The power door locks work. The clock keeps time. The power seats work properly. This car has heated seats which work. The cruise control works. Both power mirrors work. The car came with a very nice factory stereo system that includes a 6-disc CD changer in the trunk that operates properly. This car has a trunk that closes from the fully open position to the fully closed position at the touch of a button and it works. This car has rain sense wipers that work. THE ONLY THING THAT DOESN'T WORK IS THE REAR PARK-AID. This car is beautiful and it really has been a labor of love caring for it. I don't want to sell it, but I must. I need to move this car out of the garage so I can get my other car put away before winter. Remember, this is a Town Car Cartier L, a Town Car with a wheelbase 6 inches longer than a regular Town Car. If you look at the body of this car, you will see the rear door is 6 inches longer than a standard Town Car. The rear legroom in this car is incredible. I'm serious about selling this car so please don't bid unless you are serious about buying it. I'm sorry, but if you bid on the car and have zero (0) feedback, I will cancel your bid. Thanks for looking at my auction. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
