1995 Ford Taurus GL station wagon for sale. History: I bought this in '99 with under 52K miles, dealer said it came from Florida. Gave it to dad for fishin' car and he drove it a couple years. Since his death in '03 it's been my work and foul weather car, now approaching 137K on the clock. I'm heading for retirement soon and won't need a work car, so time to reduce the fleet. The good: Runs and shifts good, windows and lights work properly. Tires good, brakes fair, exhaust recently reworked. The ignition switch actuator that fails on these was recently replaced. Heat and AC work good. Nice Kenwood AM/FM/CD/USB/Aux sound system. Comfortable power adjust driver seat. Has roof rack and cargo cover. No trouble codes in computer. 3.0L Engine has never been farther apart than the serpentine belt and has had synthetic oil as long as I've owned it. The bad: Mostly rust related. State, county, and township salt the roads in winter here, so rust is coming through fenders and rockers. I've not noticed any holes or soft spots in the floor yet, but could happen soon. Fuel filler door doesn't latch shut anymore. Nine passenger seat well hasn't been open in years, didn't stay dry enough for storage use, I abandoned it and threw a mat in the rear for tools and cargo. Miscellaneous related tools, light bulbs, spare parts. Summary: If you're looking for a shiny, sunday-go-to-meetin' car, this ain't it. But if you can use a cheap comfy work car, this might fit. Or if you have a similar model that needs a drivetrain transplant, could be a donor. Selling as is, where is, with no warranty. Also locally advertised, so this listing may be terminated if someone meets the buy now price. Can be seen and inspected at my home in NW Ohio. Clean Ohio title will be signed off upon satisfactory payment. Buyer must arrange pickup or shipping to happen no later than mid November.
