When the zombie apocalypse finally happens, you're going to want a survival vehicle. This is the truck just for that. It's basically a swiss-army knife on wheels. It'll carry you and your family, any survivors you meet along your escape path, and really big loads of gear. It has a 12,000 pound towing capacity, and has a hide-a-hitch in the bed. So, hook up your trailer and you will always have your home with you while out-running zombies, as well as your new found enemies. This beast has approximately 310,600 miles. The previous owner says the engine was swapped out and has around 150,000 miles on it, but I don't have any proof of that. And wait! This truck has the legendary 7.3L V8 turbo diesel engine! That means it runs on diesel which should be much easier to come by in the apocalypse. I'm sure you could also figure out how to convert it to run on alternative fuels. You won't need to worry about getting the interior dirty from days (or weeks) without showers! It already has the “I've been surviving the apocalypse for years” look for you. This applies to the exterior as well. If you're a passenger, I would recommend riding in the rear passenger seat. The window doesn't roll down, so you'll never have to worry about the driver sacrificing you to the hoard of zombies. You can also safely lock yourself inside, even if you do not have the keys to the truck, as we have yet to find a key that will unlock the doors. Worried about zombies hanging out in your truck bed? Don't! With one broken leaf spring, drive off into the sunset and watch the dead bounce right off. This also works well for anyone in your group who you think may be plotting against you. The transmission pan gasket leaks soo much you can safely mask your smell from anyone. Just put a couple quarts in when needed, and you'll be set. Don't think the zombie apocalypse would happen? This truck would be perfect for a farm or lease truck. It can easily be fixed up, and that was my plan, but plans change.
