I have a 1972 Triumph Bonneville for sale. It has been sitting in a barn since the early 1980s. We drug it out, gave it a bath, cleaned the carbs and points, and started it. It runs quite well considering. It smokes a little. The compression is a little low, probably from stuck rings. Needs a valve adjustment. The clutch is frozen. The inside of the tank is very clean. Most of the chrome is salvageable. The front rim has a rust spot through the chrome. The bars and one of the gauges are the only major components that aren't original. This bike is an excellent candidate for restoration. It has the original paint.
